Rubbing strakes & profiles
PVC and anodised aluminium rubbing strakes, fender profiles with stainless steel insert, gaskets, rubber extrusions and protection for docks and quays. Profiles are sold in lengths or by the metre as stated on the page, with the section (base and projection) in millimetres. Strakes are fixed with screws or rivets along the hull edge; end caps and joiners of the same series finish the run.
Frequently asked questions
How do I measure a rubbing strake to replace it?
Measure the base that sits on the hull and the projection of the existing profile, in millimetres: those are the two figures given on every profile page.
